To all of Year 5.
Firstly, we hope that you are all well and that you are staying safe in these strange times.
I have attached a number of activities and tasks for you to do over the next two weeks.
I know these are strange and unique times but we will be back at school soon, so we must keep our minds active. Read books, write stories. Keep them and bring them to both Mrs Kerr and myself to read.

I hope you are all keeping yourselves well and healthy. I have attached some writing and comprehension exercises for you to do (just to keep your brain ticking over).
I would like you also to write me a postcard or a diary entry for your time in isolation. Let me know what you are doing, how are you feeling?
Furthermore, I would like you to do a project-based around our science topic – The solar System. I have attached a sheet detailing the 8 planets with some facts, however, you can draw, paint or make a scale model of the solar system. At this time be creative. See you soon.
